Hi guys,
I hope you’re all enjoying the sun. I actually got some colour on my arms yesterday, which is a big deal for someone like me who is whiter than white!
For those of you that don’t know what Glossybox is, it’s subscription based beauty box that you receive once a month. Before you receive your first box, you fill in a short questionnaire so they know information such as your hair colour and type, skin type etc. This is so that everything in your Glossybox will compliment you.
I’ve been receiving Glossybox for about eight months now and love it. I can definitely say that when I’ve opened the box, I haven’t thought ‘why have they sent me that’ which is great and also shows the importance of filling in the questionnaire correctly. It’s also great value for money. For £12.95 per month (that’s including postage) you receive about five products which do total more than the subscription price.
Ok, so this month Glossybox partnered with Superdrug for their 50th Birthday (Happy Birthday Superdrug!) and this is my favourite box so far! The design of the box is also different each month and you can see the design on this one in the banner above.
In the box were seven products and I’m not going to go into too much detail about each item as I haven’t used any of them, so I will make sure to put up a review once I used them.
The products this month were:
- Solait Illuminating Facial Bronzing Cream (full size)
- Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara (full size)
- 2true PRO 3D Candy Nail Art (full size)
- Superdrug Large Doughnut Ring (full size)
- I Love Cosmetics Strawberries & Milkshake Shimmer & Shine Lip Gloss (full size and this smells amazing by the way!)
- Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion (tester)
- GHOST Fragrances Eclipse (tester)
So from the above you can see how amazing this box was and the full size products are nearly £18!
My favourite full size item is the mascara – I’m always trying out different mascara’s and this one has a really thick brush so I’m hoping will make my lashes look full and long! My favourite tester item is the Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion. I’ve heard soo many good things about this product so will definitely be purchasing the full size lotion in the next couple of days and will do review of it next week.
Each month with the box, you get a small magazine as well which I read out in the garden yesterday!
If you want to sign up to Glossybox (you can leave at any time) and receive a lovely box of goodies each month, click here to visit their webiste.
I look forward to telling you what’s in the box next month!
I got the same box as you. Have you seen what other people got? I wasn’t happy when I found out.
I know three other people that subscribe to Glossybox and we nearly always get different boxes. People will get the same boxes though as it would be impossible for everyone to have completely different boxes.
I think you have missed my point. The boxes were so different it seemed unfair myself and a lot of other annoyed people got a box with £18 worth of stuff when other people got £40 odd worth. It should be shared out better. I wouldn’t of minded my box half as much if I hadnt of seen what other people got or if everyone else’s was equally as poor.
