Louboutins & Lemonade

I’ve been on the hunt for some new MAC lipsticks  to build my collection and after watching videos from Zoella and Tanya Burr on their favourite MAC colours, I quickly went onto the website and ordered two that quite a few people have recommended.

The first one I ordered was ‘Impassioned’ (bottom in pic), a bright pink from their Amplified range. I really like this colour and is perfect for summer. I probably wouldn’t wear it all year round as it is quite bright a might look out of place in the winter, but for the warmer months, this will definitely be my ‘go-to’ lipstick. The blue undertones gives it a real pop to your lips and will make any outfit looked polished. It’s got a really creamy texture which means it stays in place most of the day, with only  couple of touch ups.

The second lipstick I got was ‘Chatterbox’ (top in pic), this was again from the Amplified range of lipsticks. This is another pink, but a more softer, everyday colour that I will wear all year round. It definitely suits and compliments all the pastel shades that are around at the moment. Like ‘Impassioned’ this is creamy and long-lasting with only one or two re-applications needed throughout the day.

What’s your favourite colour of MAC lipstick? What do you recommend? I’d also love to know if you use the MAC Prep & Prime Lip as I’m thinking about purchasing it!
