Wow, November has gone past in a flash, so has 2015 to be honest! So for the penultimate time this year, I’m going to share my favourite things from the month.
Disney Classics Collection
I am truly obsessed with Disney. Anything to do with Disney and I’m all over it! During November I have been collecting the limited edition Disney DVD covers which come with the classic films we know and love. There are 52 in the collection and I have 38 so I’m nearly there. It’s great to have them all in one place because even though I am the biggest Disney fan, there are soo many films you tend to just remember your favourites and the obvious titles so I’m looking forward to sitting down and re-watching all the films from the first animated classic, Snow White, right up to the latest which is Inside Out. For those Disney fanatics that are interested, my favourite classic is Beauty & the Beast!
Strictly Come Dancing
I feel like this time of the year you’re one of two types of people; a Strictly fan or an X Factor fan. Now I like X Factor but I love Strictly Come Dancing! There’s something about Strictly that makes it feel magical. With all the ballgowns and men in tux it’s like Cinderella! I’m always sad when it comes to an end and I’m always looking forward to the BBC releasing the new line up of celebs. My favourite couple in the show at the moment are Jay and Aliona who I am sure will win, they are just fabulous!
Floppy Hat
I have never been a hat wearer but I took the plunge and bought a berry red floppy hat from trading app Depop, but I think it’s originally from Peacocks. I have been loving wearing it and I think I’ve finally found a style of hat that suits me. It makes any outfit look polished and sophisticated, and is perfect for cold winter walks in the park.
Burberry Lip Mist
I’m in the process of updating my make up and I want to eventually have a group of essential products that are more high end then the rest. So I recently purchased a Burberry Lip Mist in the shade 213 ‘Field Rose’. I’ve always been a lover of lipstick and have tended to be swayed to the bold statement lipsticks such as bright pinks and reds but have never really had something a bit more muted. When I saw this particular shade on the Burberry website I knew that I had to give it a try. As the name ‘Lip Mist’ suggests, the colour isn’t as pigmented as a normal lipstick. The aim of it is to highlight and illuminate the lip with a touch of colour that can be applied once for a sheer lip or twice for a stronger colour. Not only is the colour beautiful, on the lips it feels like I’m wearing a lip balm as it’s really hydrating which is really important during the colder months. I have put a couple more of the colours on my Christmas list and I will certainly be purchasing some more in the New Year.
What have your favourites been in November? Let me know in the comments.
I love Disney too! My favorite movies and favorite vacations. I love your floppy hat too!
Which is your favourite Disney movie? I’m desperate to go back to Walt Disney World! Thank you! I’m definitely going to invest in some more hats as they really do complete an outfit!
I really think my favorite movie is Frozen. We saw it on a Disney Cruise and it snowed in the auditorium and Anna and Elsa were there. Guess that made it memorable. You HAVE to do a Disney Cruise! I am nominating you for a Versatile Blogger Award! Details here: https://debbiemlewisdotnet.wordpress.com/2015/12/03/am-i-versatile/
